Hyperion Updates

System requirments
Hyperion software is ONLY intended for use with the Hyperion Pocket PC provided by Fiber SenSys. Fiber SenSys is not responsible for damage to any property by the misuse of this software. You should remove previous versions of Hyperion before installing a newer version to avoid duplicate icons.
Installation Instructions for Hyperion Software Update
  Download the hyperion_ppc.armv4.zip file to your PC.
  Connect the Hyperion Pocket PC to your Desktop PC over an ActiveSync USB cable connection. The USB cable was provided with Hyperion.
  Open “My Computer” on the PC to display available resources. Hyperion should be displayed as “Mobile Device”. Open “Mobile Device” to display the contents of the Hyperion Pocket PC.
  Copy the .CAB file to the “My Documents\Hyperion" folder on the Hyperion Pocket PC.
  Click the My Pocket PC icon. Copy the same .CAB file to the built-in storage folder on the Hyperion Pocket PC. (This will serve as a backup should you need to reinstall the software).
  Disconnect the Hyperion Pocket PC from the USB cable and open File Explorer. In “My Documents\Hyperion”, tap on the hyperion_ppc.armv4.zip file to install the update. When prompted, tap “Yes” to reinstall.

    Installation Instructions for Hyperion Firmware Update
      Download TDSReconUpdatePPCV4_2_5WWE.zip to your PC.
      Connect the Hyperion Pocket PC to your Desktop PC over an ActiveSync USB cable connection. The USB cable was provided with Hyperion.
      Execute the firmware upgrader program TDSReconUpdatePPCV4_2_5WWE.exe.

    08/15/05 4.2.5 Windows TDS Recon Firmware Update:
    • An improvement was made in the touch screen driver that increases the accuracy and reliability of hypersensitive touch screens when used with supporting hardware.
    • The battery gauge (Battery Power Remaining) has been improved to provide a more accurate representation of the percentage of remaining battery life.
    • A change was made to the battery algorithm that will increase the accuracy of the Low Battery warnings.
    • USB communication is more robust
    • A new theme called ‘High-Contrast’ has been included as a standard program. High-Contrast can improve outdoor viewability.
    • Added latest Windows Mobile Pocket PC 2003 updates from Microsoft.

      Download netcf.all.wce4.ARMV4.cab to your PC.
