The SecurLAN™ SL508 Alarm Processor Unit (APU) was developed specifically for use in alarmed carrier PDS systems. This APU has been evaluated and tested by the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) and also by the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. ARMY.

Each facility or campus is unique, with a unique set of characteristics and environmental conditions, FSI has created a tuning and calibration software tool for manual adjustment of the APUs. For optimal performance of the system, each FSI Alarm Processor Unit is tuned and calibrated by a trained and certified systems integrator to match the specific environment that they are protecting.

Download the following Tech Tip to understand how to tune the FSI APUs for PDS applications.
